AI Search Optimization · plans from

$350/mo

Plans start at $350 per month and require active TMN Site Care. Site Care starts at $50 per month, so combined care starts at $400 per month. The final monthly price depends on the prompt set, markets, reporting, and implementation scope. TMN previously called this AI Visibility Care.

A monthly check, with time to fix what matters.

Each month TMN monitors the agreed prompt set, reviews citation and competitor changes, implements the highest-priority website improvement within the confirmed scope, and reports what changed. Larger content, development, or third-party outreach is quoted before work begins.

Your agreed prompt set tracked monthly across 5 AI engines
A report on citation and competitor changes
Additional work is quoted before it begins
No ranking, citation, or recommendation is guaranteed

Existing websites not built or previously audited by TMN begin with a one-time $750 baseline audit and setup.

Boring fundamentals, done properly.

There is no secret file and no magic markup. The firms that get cited are the ones a machine can reach, parse, and corroborate. Below is what the allowance can be spent on. It is a menu of possible work, not a checklist run every month.

Access and indexing

Crawler access across the major engines and assistants. OpenAI states that allowing OAI-SearchBot helps keep a site eligible to appear in ChatGPT search answers. Sitemaps and IndexNow can help participating search engines discover changes sooner.

Structured data and entity facts

Organization, Person, Service, Article, and LocalBusiness markup kept accurate as facts change. I edit the properties you control. For third-party profiles and directories I provide the corrections and submit them where I have access.

The highest-priority item that fits

Each month the time goes to the single most valuable issue or improvement. Sometimes that is a page or answer section. Sometimes diagnosis, an indexing problem, or a wrong entity fact takes the whole allowance, and that is the right call when it happens.

Evidence and a short record

Search Console, Bing AI performance reporting, and assistant referral traffic reviewed as the month's questions call for it, plus a concise written record of findings, changes, and opportunities.

Buyers have found this studio through ChatGPT.

One buyer forwarded the ChatGPT conversation that put TMN on his shortlist. A separate prospect typed chatgpt into the how-did-you-hear field of the inquiry form days later. That happened here before I ever sold this service to anyone.

Hilpan Moxie Wealth Management

It has happened on the client side as well. 18 days after the Hilpan Moxie Wealth Management site went live, the founder wrote to say a Google employee had reached out after finding the firm through ChatGPT, and a family member's test search listed the firm second among the 5 firms ChatGPT named.

I cannot make a model recommend you.

Anyone promising a ranking inside an assistant is selling something they do not control. Outputs vary by model, prompt, index, location, and day. I would rather draw the line now than in month 3.

What improves

Discoverability, whether assistants can reach you
Machine understanding of who you are and who you serve
Citation eligibility, whether you qualify to be quoted
Entity accuracy across the sources describing you
Content freshness and how quickly changes are found

What is never promised

Favorable treatment by any model
A ranking, a citation, or a recommendation
Which firms appear alongside you
Traffic or lead volume
Stability as models change retrieval and training

What is measurable, and what is not

Reported
Bing Webmaster Tools reports sampled and aggregated citation data, the pages cited, and grouped grounding queries. It shows presence and direction, not a complete log of what anyone typed.
Reported
Referral traffic. Referral links from ChatGPT Search include its tracking parameter, so those visits are identifiable in analytics.
Reported
Search Console for impressions, queries, and indexing status, which still underpin most of how this works.
Directional
A fixed prompt panel. The same buyer questions asked across the major assistants. Useful as a trend, never as proof. Results vary by prompt, location, and day, and the record says so every time.

What I will not sell you

Google does not require a special AI schema type or machine-readable file for its AI features. I maintain accurate standard structured data and will not repackage it as a separate invention. I will publish an llms.txt because it is cheap and some tools read it, but it belongs in housekeeping, not on an invoice.

Your compliance reviewer stays in the workflow.

Much of an adviser's public website can fall within the SEC Marketing Rule. Regulated copy remains subject to the firm's reviewer throughout the process.

I build inside that constraint. On the Hilpan Moxie Wealth Management build, every item the firm's compliance consultant returned went in, with the 3 required disclosures placed word for word. On the Parks Wealth Partners build, every page was exported to PDF for Osaic's Hosted Away Website Request, the site was resubmitted after changes, and the review clearance was forwarded before I connected the domain. I do not give compliance advice and I do not replace your reviewer. Approved copy comes from your firm.

Questions owners ask before buying AI search work.

What is AI Search Optimization?

AI Search Optimization keeps a business reachable, accurate, and easy to verify for AI assistants and AI-powered search. The industry also calls it GEO (generative engine optimization), AEO (answer engine optimization), or AIO, and sometimes AI SEO, though AI SEO more often refers to tools that use AI to do traditional SEO. TMN previously offered this service as AI Visibility Care.

How do I get ChatGPT to recommend my business?

There is no submission process and no way to buy placement. Assistants read public sources, so the practical work is eligibility and proof: allow the AI crawlers in robots.txt, publish specific pages that answer real buyer questions, keep your business facts consistent everywhere you appear, and give third-party sources something to corroborate. TMN maintains its own buyer verification page for exactly that reason. A site whose team can publish its own pages through a CMS it owns keeps adding citable answers without waiting on a developer.

Why doesn't my business show up in ChatGPT?

It usually takes diagnosis rather than a single answer. Common causes include AI crawlers blocked by robots.txt or a firewall, content that only renders with JavaScript, thin or generic pages with nothing specific to cite, inconsistent facts across directories, and pages that are simply too new to have been picked up. The $750 baseline audit identifies which of these actually applies to your site.

Does ChatGPT read my website?

It can, in 2 ways. OAI-SearchBot crawls the web for ChatGPT search, and OpenAI states that allowing it helps keep a site eligible to appear in ChatGPT search answers. ChatGPT-User fetches a page when a user asks about it directly. Allowing access makes your pages readable. It does not mean every accessible page will be surfaced.

How do you optimize a website for ChatGPT and AI search?

Mostly with fundamentals done properly: crawler access, content readable in the raw HTML without executing JavaScript, accurate structured data, consistent business facts, specific pages worth citing, and a current sitemap with changes submitted promptly. Google states there is no AI-specific schema type or special file required for its AI features, and an llms.txt file is cheap housekeeping rather than a ranking mechanism. The same work supports the firms TMN builds for, from financial advisors to healthcare practices and service businesses.

Can AI Search Optimization guarantee that ChatGPT will cite or recommend my business?

No, and nobody can. Outputs vary by model, prompt, index, location, and day, and anyone promising a specific AI ranking or recommendation is selling something they do not control. What this service improves is eligibility, accuracy, and the evidence available for machines and buyers to check.

Start with the audit.

I will tell you what assistants can currently reach, what the platforms report is already being cited, and whether any of it is worth paying to change. If the answer is no, I will say so.
