Who this is for, and who decides.
This checklist is for founders starting an RIA, and for the compliance consultants who forward it to them. The firm decides what goes public and when. At a new firm the CCO is often the founder, so the reviewer may be you, or a compliance consultant if you use one. TMN builds the website around that review. Nothing on this page is legal or compliance advice.
The checks save in this browser only. Nothing is sent to TMN when you tick a box. Print the list for your reviewer, or clear it and start over.
Before the ADV filing
The gate. Nothing goes public until the firm is registered and may hold itself out. Until then the website lives on a private staging address, and the build keeps moving.
At registration, before the website goes public
The gate. The reviewer approves the launch version and the firm authorizes the launch. TMN connects the domain after both.
The first 30 days after launch
The habit. Every change goes back to the same reviewer, and every version is kept.
How TMN builds around your reviewer.
Copy is drafted for firm review, and disclosure placement is planned from the first layout rather than added at the end. The website is built on a private staging address your reviewer can open, and every change is logged so the CCO has something to file. Trevor and Taylor Niemann scope, write, design, build, and launch every TMN website. After full payment the firm owns the project files under the agreement.
| Stage | TMN supplies | The firm supplies |
|---|---|---|
| Copy | First drafts written for firm review | The facts, the approvals, and the final wording |
| Disclosures | Placement planned from the first layout | ADV Part 2 brochure, Form CRS, privacy notice, and a BrokerCheck link if anyone is under a broker-dealer |
| Staging and record | A private staging address and a change log the CCO can file | The reviewer, and the go-ahead once registration is effective |
| Launch | Domain connection, form test, phone check, and analytics | Registrar access on firm accounts, and the launch authorization |
Scope and pricing, as published.
Packages are chosen by scope, not by firm type. A focused first website can fit Essential. Most new RIA engagements with bios, service pages, and the review workflow built in fit Full Site Rebuild. Custom Studio Build is for scope that needs custom strategy. Prices match the published pricing page.
| Package | Starts at | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Essential Website | from $2,250 | A focused first website: who you serve, what you do, how a prospect begins, and the disclosures page |
| Full Site Rebuild | from $3,750 | More pages, deeper copy development, bios, service pages, and the review workflow built in |
| Custom Studio Build | from $5,000 | Custom strategy, a multi-audience structure, or deeper content and design scope |
| RIA Site Care | $100 per month from launch | Billed separately, month to month, no minimum, no cancellation fee. Monthly form and disclosure link checks, with direct support from Trevor |
Essential Website and Full Site Rebuild first drafts typically target 72 hours after kickoff and receipt of materials. Custom Studio Build first reviews typically target 7 to 10 days. Launch follows registration, permissions, and review, never ahead of them. A ready project, with content, access, and approvals in hand, can be live in as little as 72 hours from an agreed production kickoff. See custom website launch timing.
Work you can inspect.
Hilpan Moxie is shown above. All 29 of the firm’s articles kept their original addresses through the move. Parks Wealth Partners, below, went through a broker-dealer review instead. Both websites are live with a TMN footer credit, and both are linked from the financial services page.

Introducing a client, or your own firm.
Compliance consultants: email trevor@tmncreative.com with the firm name, the current website if any, what is changing, the target filing or launch date, and who will review. Founders can send the project form or book a 15-minute call. We reply within 24 hours, usually sooner.
Questions founders and consultants ask.
Can the website go live before the RIA is registered?
The firm decides when it may hold itself out. Until registration is effective, the website stays on a private staging address that only the people you name can open, and the build keeps moving so the launch can follow registration as soon as the firm gives the go-ahead.
Who writes the disclosures?
The firm and its reviewer. TMN places the ADV Part 2 brochure, Form CRS, privacy notice, and any BrokerCheck link where the reviewer says, exactly as supplied.
Does TMN give compliance or legal advice?
No. The firm’s CCO or compliance consultant interprets the rules and approves what goes public. TMN builds the website around that review and keeps the record the reviewer needs.
How long does a new RIA website take?
Essential Website and Full Site Rebuild first drafts typically target 72 hours after kickoff and receipt of materials. Custom Studio Build first reviews typically target 7 to 10 days. Launch follows registration, permissions, and review. A ready project can be live in as little as 72 hours from an agreed production kickoff.
What happens to the website if we leave TMN?
Project-specific website files transfer after full payment under the signed agreement. RIA Site Care is month to month with no minimum and no cancellation fee, so the firm can leave with its website.
Can we publish articles after launch?
Yes, once a review and publishing process exists. Decide who drafts, who reviews, who posts, and where each approved version is kept. TMN can set up the publishing path with review built in.
